Refund policy

Credits are different from a seat in most software: each one Expliqua spends is money we’ve already paid for the model work behind it. So a purchase whose credits are still unused can be refunded, and one whose credits were spent can’t.

Unused purchases

If you haven’t used any of a purchase’s credits, write to us within 14 days of paying and we refund it in full: a plan’s first month, a renewal, or extra credits. A refund takes the credits back.

Used purchases

Once any of a purchase’s credits have been spent, it isn’t refunded, not even in part. Every credit used paid for a draft, a picture, a search or a recording that was made for you and that we were charged for.

Plans

  • Cancel at any time from Manage on the credits page. The month you paid for runs to its end with its credits, and you aren’t charged again. We don’t refund the rest of a month.
  • Changing to a bigger plan charges the difference for the rest of the month; changing to a smaller one takes effect from the next month. Neither is a refund.

Our mistakes

If you were charged twice, charged after canceling, or Expliqua failed and spent your credits on nothing, that’s on us: tell us and we put it right, with a refund or the credits back, whichever fits.

Free credits

Free credits aren’t a purchase, so there’s nothing to refund: they were never paid for.

How to ask

Write to support@expliqua.com from your account’s address with the receipt or the date of the purchase. Polar, our merchant of record, sends the money back to the card you paid with; it usually shows within five to ten business days. Nothing here limits the rights your country’s consumer law gives you, and our terms say the rest.
